Writer. Nonprofit Pro. Cultural Connector.

I write from the personal experience of being a cradle Catholic, Asian-American woman (Filipina-Hoosier) that grew up in the Midwest and has lived around the world. As an avid reader and culture lover, I enjoy sharing resources and experiences to create connections.

Grant writing taught me how to communicate between groups that are different from each other to reach a common goal. As an INFJ and Enneagram Nine, my empathetic nature is strong. I can see the big picture, break it down, and make sure that all voices are heard.

Currently, I work and mentor people in the nonprofit space. I recently started writing nonfiction, publishing articles and collaborating with other writers and creators, focusing on work that is honest, optimistic, and thought-provoking. I am also a member of the inaugural Redbud Writers Guild Women of Color mentoring program.

Esposa. Mama. Sojourner.

Indianapolis, Indiana is home to me, my husband Mario from Argentina, and our two boys. We love Hoosier life and love to travel. Much of my writing is influenced by what I learn through our busy everyday lives, and our once-in-a-lifetime adventures.

We are also short-term immigrant foster care parents through Bethany Christian Services. You can read more about our experience in this article published in the Criterion (March 2023)
